A year ago, I faced one of the most difficult chapters of my life—a mental health crisis that forced me to confront my struggles, seek help, and ultimately embark on the journey of sobriety. It was a battle, one filled with highs and lows, but through it all, I discovered something profound: my unwavering love for animals.
Pets have a way of healing us, of showing unconditional love and acceptance when we need it most. Their presence during my recovery became more than just comforting—it became a guiding light. As I rebuilt my life, I realized that my passion for caring for animals was more than just an interest; it was my calling.
And so, Pawzitively Petz was born—an idea that has grown from a spark into a full-fledged mission. My vision is simple yet powerful: to offer highly tailored pet services that truly meet the unique needs of each furry, scaly, and whiskered companion. Every pet deserves individualized care, and my goal is to provide just that.
To start, I am launching ferret boarding, ensuring these energetic little creatures get the attention, space, and enrichment they need while their humans are away. But this is only the beginning. As Pawzitively Petz grows, I plan to expand services, offering specialized care for reptiles, small animals, dog grooming, and tailored daycare programs that meet the specific needs of every pup.
This journey has been about more than just building a business—it’s been about rediscovering my purpose. I am grateful for the lessons of the past year, for the growth, and for the opportunity to turn my passion into something that can truly make a difference.
